Bangsal Harbour, on Lombok's northwest coast, is the main gateway to the three Gili Islands. Public boats depart throughout the day once enough passengers have gathered.
Gili Air is the closest crossing, followed by Gili Meno, with Gili Trawangan the furthest of the three. Private charter boats are also available if you prefer not to wait.
Tickets for public boats are bought at the official harbour ticket office. Be cautious of unofficial sellers on the approach road to the harbour.
